Cute flower hat - free pattern

A cute and fast hat

I made this in  2 hours. easy pattern and that flower looks so cute

Here is the pattern

Crochet hook size 4 mm
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Abbreviations:

ch - chain
sl st- slip stitch
Sc - Single Crochet
DC - Double Crochet
Hdc- Half Double Crochet

bpsc - back post single crochet

Pattern :

With gray

Magic Ring, Chain 2, 9 DC in magic ring, join to first DC, ch 2

Round 2: 2 DC in each around, join to first DC, ch 2 

Round 3: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next, repeat around, join, ch 2 

Round 4: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 2, repeat around, join, ch 2 

Round 5: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 3, repeat around, join, ch 2 

Round 6: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 4, repeat around, join, ch 2 

Round 7: DC around 

Round 8: 2 Dc in first stitch, DC in next 8, repeat around, join, ch 2 

Round 9: 2 DC, DC in next 9, repeat around 

Round 10-15: DC around 

Change color to Pink 

Round 16: Sc around

For flower
With Pink
Round 1 : ch 2 , 6sc in second chain from hook, join in beg sc
Round 2 : ch 1 , sc in same sc as beg ch 1,ch 2 (sc in next sc, ch 2) around, join in beg sc
Round 3 : ch 1 ,( sc, 3hdc,sc) in each of ch-2 spaces around, do not join
Round 4 : working behind petals, bpsc around first st of round 2, ch 3 , ( bpsc around next st of round 2, ch 3) around, join in first bpsc
Round 5: ch 1 , (sc,5 dc, sc) in each ch-3 spaces, do not join
Round 6: working behind petals, bpsc around firt bpsc of round 4, ch 4 (bpsc around next bpsc of round 4 , ch 4) around, join in beg sc
Round 7 : ch 1 , (sc,7 dc, sc) in each ch-4 spaces, fasten off

Sew to the hat. ta da, all done

hello kitty crochet bag - free pattern

My daughter like all girls is crazy about Hello Kitty. So, for her birthday, I decided to make a Hello Kitty bag. I searched Pinterest and Ravelry for pattern but the one I liked was not free.

So, I made a pattern and posting it here for all the girls :) .Please post a photo or a link if you make one .

Materials:

• Worsted Weight Yarn (one skein white and pink)i
• Size 4.00 mm Hook
• Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends

For the bag :
Make two
With white :
chain 20
Round 1 : turn, ch 1, one sc in each chain (total 20 sc)
Round 2 : turn, ch 1, 2 sc in first st, 2 sc in second st, one sc each in next 16 st, 2 sc each in last two st (total 24 sc)
Round 3-10 : turn , ch 1, 2 sc in first st,* sc in next st * till you reach last one, 2 sc in last st
Round 11-20 : turn, ch 1, sc in each sc
Round 21 : turn, ch 1, sc decrease in first st , * sc in next st * till you reach last one, sc decrease in last sc
Round 22-30 : turn , ch 1 , sc decrease in first sc,  * sc in next st * till end

For the ears
Ch 1, sc 11 on the decreased side
Round 1 : sc decrease in first, sc in rest
Round 2-6 :  turn, ch 1 ,sc decrease in first st , * sc in next st * till you reach last one, sc decrease in last sc

Sew them together 
With Pink, sc along the side

For Bow
With Pink
Ch16, hdc in third ch from hook, and in each ch across, turn.
Round 1: ch2, hdc in next st and in each across, turn.
Round 2-7: repeat row 1.
Cut yarn and weave in ends.

For Strap
Since I wanted it across Shoulder one, so I made it long

With White 
Ch 60
dc across

With Pink
*3sc in st, sk next st* till end (both sides)

Sew it to the ears

For eyes and nose
 you can use buttons, but I had black and yellow yarn

Ch 4, sl st in a ring
4 sc in the ring
Sew on bag
